Vineet routinely represents real estate developers where he his expertise is sought on title due diligence, acquisition agreements, regulatory approvals and commercial vendor contracts. Along with the real estate developers Vineet also represents the concerns of private equity players, funds and NBFCs who are financially invested in the Indian real estate space.
Vineet has advised various domestic offerings viz. IPOs, FPOs, Rights Issues, Pre IPO placements as well as international offerings viz. GDRs and FCCBs issues. He advises his clients on negotiations and drafting of term sheets, structuring transactions, conducting due diligence, preparing and finalizing transactional documents.
Vineet¡¯s practice also includes opining on patentability, patenting, filing, prosecution, pre and post grant opposition, freedom-to-operate, due diligence, patent watch, evolving effective patent strategy, trademark registration and protection, anti-trust, plant variety protection (PVP) and licensing of copyright to name a few.
Vineet is a part of the Corporate Commercial, M&A and PE-VC practice group. Vineet has a practice in Corporate Commercial (including Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Private Equity and Venture Capital) and Capital Markets. He has worked on numerous transactional and advisory matters related to corporate and commercial transactions, real estate transactions and capital market transactions. He has counseled varied mandates ranging from business transfers, asset purchases, to hiving-off of business units. Vineet regularly advises clients on complex business, structuring, regulatory and legal issues connected and associated with E-commerce businesses, technology, IP, telecommunications and media businesses.
Vineet is registered with the Bar Council of Delhi and holds an honours degree in Law from the ILS Law College, University of Pune and has pursued his LL.M from the same. Vineet has also done a specialization degree in Contract Laws from the Harvard University.
In addition to his legal profile, Vineet has worked with many non-government organizations for the upliftment of society and providing free Legal-Aid on many occasions. Vineet is also a Paul Harris Fellow.
